She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Albert Wegner and Ruth Brunskill Wegner; her husband Daniel Joseph Doherty; her children, Deanna Doherty of Oakland, CA and Jean Stutzman (Michael) of Overland Park, KS; her grandchildren, Jessica Schatz (Kevin), Alexandra Frahm (Kyle), Madeline, Brooke and Grace Doherty; and her siblings, Creighton Wegner and Audrey Youngkin (Ellwood).
