She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Pope and Lula Pope; her husband Joe E. Madden; her sisters, Bernice Abraham, Lorraine Ollison, Eloise Teasley and Lula Mae Jones; and her stepbrother Lawrence Parnell.

She is survived by: her daughters, Adrienne Madden, Angela Routt (Neal) and Erika White; her grandchildren, Marcus, Andrea Madden, Terris, Taylor White, Elizabeth and Lauren Routt; and her great grandchild Kyser Madden. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and loving family and friends.
