He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; his parents, Katherine Jarrett and Will Jarrett; his sister Norma Caetano; and his grandsons, Michael and Tyler.

He is survived by: his children, George H. Jarrett, Jr., William D. Jarrett, John A. Jarrett (Connie), Michael J. Jarrett and Katherine M. Jarrett; and his sister Linda Borchardt. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
