Freeman B. Burns Obituary

With solemn reverence, we commemorate Freeman B. Burns (Bellevue, Nebraska), whose life came to an end on March 9, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Freeman is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Freeman's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He is survived by: his wife Katie Burns; and his children, Pamela Allen (Steve), Bradley Burns, Angela Thompson (Alan Seybert), Ronald Burns and Christopher Burns (Bobbi). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; his extended family and many goods friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bellevue/Sarpy County Chapel (3402 Samson Way, Bellevue, NE 68123). A vigil service will be held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Gerald Catholic Church (9602 Q St, Omaha, NE 68127).
