She was predeceased by: her husband York R. Parris, Sr.; her siblings-in-law, Gwendolyn L. Ward (Aiden), Elaine G. Brown (Darnley), Erline L. Green, Noel F. Parris (Cynthia) and Ervin O. Parris; and her goddaughters, Michelle Green and Joycelyn Brooks.

She is survived by: her children, Valerie A. Parris Bolden, Michelle L. Parris and York R. Parris, Jr.; her grandsons, Hector F. Leguillow (Rhonda) and Anthony G. Hart; her daughter Janine Davis Burrow (Darryl); her grandchildren, Angela R. Dolezal (Scott), Danielle L. Parris, Steven A. Leguillow (Milenka) and Tinissia M. English; her great grandchildren, Sophia G. A., Maxwell J. J. Dolezal, Leguillows and Englishes; her siblings, Lloyd M. Harte, Laverne Y. Berry and Janice Collins Brooks; and her cousins, Morris, Pickard, Martin, Sasser, Burnett, Taylor, Miller and Noble. She is also survived by sister-in-law M. Jane Parris, MA; brother-in-law Joseph Green, MA; nieces, nephews.
