He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Henrietta. He is survived by: his children, Steve and Nicole Courtney (Chris); his grandchildren, Hannah, Elizabeth and Benjamin Courtney; and his brothers, John (Dianne), Mark (Carol) and Paul (Neneth). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
