We bid farewell to Dorothy E. Pyle of Bellevue, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 10, 2024 at the age of 95. Dorothy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, Dorothy is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Dorothy's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard O'Donnell and Ethel O'Donnell (Delle); her husband James Pyle; and her sister Pauline Kolacia. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Kaup (Mel) of Bellevue, NE, Ronald Pyle (Lucy) of Neligh, NE and Larry Pyle (Brenda) of Menomonie, WI. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Powers Funeral Home - Pomeroy (210 S Main St, Pomeroy, IA 50575). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Elfsborg Lutheran Church (21511 600th St, Pomeroy, IA 50575). A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at the Union Cemetery (1949 Marengo Ave, Pomeroy, IA 50575).
