She was predeceased by: her father Sam McDannell; and her stepfather Dennis H. Peters. She is survived by: her mother Gwynn Peters; her grandchildren, Rilynn Ann, Liam Gabriel, Oliver Alexander, Zoey Louise and Hudson Ewell Wood; and her siblings, Robyn Stehman, Mike Mizener (Lecia) and Bobby Mizener (Jennifer). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and aunts and uncles.
