He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Cox and Mary Cox (Williams); his wife Rachel "Agnes" Cox; and his siblings, Albert "Lee" Cox, Darrell Cox, James "Ivan" Cox, Wesley "Ike" Cox, Mary Joy Cox and Elmer Cox.
He is survived by: his daughter Darla Bengtson (Terry) of Gretna; his grandchildren, Sara, Brevan, Teresa and Megan; his sisters, Fern Hoffman of Denver, CO and Evelyn "Pearle" Hart of Denver, CO; and his sister-in-law Carol Craig of Ravenna, NE. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
