He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lou; his daughter Pamela Larsen; and his mother Helen Weyerman. He is survived by: his daughter Lorri Sweetwood (Dan); his son-in-law James Larsen (Michelle); his grandchildren, Justin Larsen (Jaime), Joilynn Larsen, Joshua Larsen (Whitney), Jacob Sweetwood, Jenna Sweetwood and Joey Sweetwood; his great grandchildren, Jordyn Larsen, Jemma Larsen, Jayleigh Larsen, James Larsen, Jamesen Larsen and Jude Larsen; his sister-in-law Patty Edwards; and his niece Sandra Becher.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Don Turner Memorial Foundation Fund.
