It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald E. Swensen (Bellevue, Nebraska), who passed away on March 7, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris Swensen and Johanna Swensen; his former wife Gertrude; his son Roger; and his siblings, Dagny Svendsen, Ina Carroll, Norman Swensen, Mae Heilig, Ethel Dent, Violet Fiscus and Christena Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn; his children, Dwain Swensen (Joan), Stanley Swensen (Kathleen), Debra Williams and Leslie Swensen (Rita); and his sister Joy Salmon (Tom). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
