He was predeceased by: his son Michael. He is survived by: his wife Vicki; his sons, Dominic Daniel Mendolia, Jr. (Teri) and Christian Philip Mendolia (Jen); his grandchildren, Ryan Mendolia, MaKayla Mendolia (Dustin McClellan, Sr.), Dart Mendolia and Dani Mendolia; his great grandchildren, D. J. McClellan and Bailey McClellan; and his nephew Salvatore Mendolia (Terry).
