She was predeceased by: her husband Lewis Ruberti, Sr.; her parents, Virgil Sims and Lorene Beasley; and her sister Ruth Chambers. She is survived by: her son Lewis Ruberti, Jr. (Kim); her granddaughter Gabrielle Ruberti; her stepdaughter Jeannie Ruberti-Berry; and her siblings, Charlotte Griffin (Mick), Virgil "Bud" Sims (Mary), Joan Hector and Hershel Sims (Beverly).
