Debra K. Helmick Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debra K. Helmick of Bellevue, Nebraska, born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, who passed away on April 15, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Hergenreder and Dorothy Hergenreder (Hamburg); and her grandson Connor. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bill" Helmick; her children, Mark Wheeler (Arnhild) of Villmar, Germany, Chris Wheeler (Denise) of Cheyenne, WY, Melissa Mann (Andy) of Bellevue, NE, Brian Wheeler (Tonya) of Scottsbluff, NE and Stephanie Anderson (Johnny) of Bellevue, NE; her stepsons, Christopher Helmick of Hope, AR and Robert Helmick, Jr. of Hope, AR; her grandchildren, Delia, Ronja, Tristan, Christopher, Aaron, Josh, Michael, Jaden (Valerie), Taylor, Trinity, Brantley, Aliyana, Caleb and Kayden; her great grandchild Feline; and her siblings, Bob Hergenreder (Jeannie) of Scottsbluff, NE, Pam Allen (Scott) of Arvada, CO, Cindy Yekel (Roger) of Ft. Collins, CO and Sherry Weimer (Doug) of Gering, NE. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Donations will be collected and the family will be donating in Deb's name to breast cancer research.
