He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchell McVicker and Belva McVicker; and his brother George McVicker. He is survived by: his wife Darlene McVicker (Novak) of Morse Bluff; his children, Greg McVicker (Cindy) of Lincoln, NE, Gail Wisnieski (Joe) of Olathe, KS, Dan McVicker (Benita) of Bellevue, NE, Dave McVicker (Tereane Kerr) and Kelly McVicker of Des Moines, IA; his grandchildren, Adam Wisnieski (Hayley), Sarah Zach (Jonathan), Mitchell McVicker (Kimberly), Katie Norton (Cody), Katie Kruse (Justine) and Graham McVicker (Ariana); his great grandchildren, Sylvia Zach, Connell McVicker, Emma Wisnieski, Robyn McVicker, Eleanor Norton, Juliet Norton, Dorothy Norton, Adelaide Norton, Charlette Norton, Rosalind Norton and Nathaniel Norton; his siblings, Doug McVicker (Wendee) and Pat Schwan (Larry); and his sister-in-law Mary Jo McVicker.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Avery Presbyterian Church (1910 Avery Rd E, Bellevue, NE 68005). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
