It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darwin Wendell Piatt Jr. of Bellevue, Nebraska, who passed away on July 2, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Francisca "Fay"; his children, Jennifer Piatt of Arlington, VA, Zachary of Omaha, Michael (Jessica) of Helena, MT, Sean of Omaha and Cesar of Fairfield, CA; and his sisters, Jeanie Hodges of Loveland, CO and Edith Costa of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
