He was predeceased by: his parents, Elza Trent and Myrna Sheets; his brother David Jervis; and his daughter Melissa Nicole Trent. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Caleb Trent and Becca Trent; his grandsons, Micah and Myles Trent; and his sisters, Juli Schleicher and Jeannie Bergley (Mark).
