He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon; and his grandson Shaun Welch. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Patrick Welch (Lucy), Lori Nelson (Jack), Karen Kennedy (John) and Michael Welch (Michelle); his stepchildren, Julie Alexander (Patrick) and Jeffrey Finken (Deborah); and his brothers, Merle and Lauren. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandson.
