He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale McKeighan and Dorothy McKeighan; his son Charles McKeighan, Jr.; his great grandchild Gavin Parkins; his grandmother Effie Ridle; his siblings, Betty Drews and Jerry McKeighan; and his brothers-in-law, Don Stanesic and Jerome Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Steven McKeighan and Michelle; his children-in-law, Mark Perez and Tammy McKeighan; his sisters, Margaret Stanesic and Cathrine Nelson; and his siblings-in-law, LeRoy Drews and Mary McKeighan. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
