He is survived by: his wife Martalena "Marte" Smith; his children, Gabriella Gerner (Noah) and Marco Smith; his granddaughter Kamila; his parents, Walter Smith and Sandra Smith; his sister Belinda Weidner (Scott); his parents-in-law, Dianne Carroll (Dave) and Robert Trelles (Ana); and his brother-in-law Bob Trelles. He is also survived by niece and nephews.
