He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis and Correen; and his siblings, Gay Gruttemeyer and Sy Caniglia. He is survived by: his wife Joanne E. Caniglia; his daughters, Shawna Caniglia and Christina Garcia-Caniglia (Alfredo); his grandchildren, Daniella, Louis, Celeste and Miguel; his great grandchild Abram; and his sister Joy Tuma (Gary). He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

Memorials will be directed by the family.
