It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey Laverne Retherford (Bellevue, Nebraska), who passed away on July 1, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard "Max" Retherford; her mother Smithie Doris; her stepfather Walter E. Phillips; her father Darius Jones; her children, Max Jr. and Sandra Harrrell; and her brother Earl Ray Jones.

She is survived by: her children, Johnny Ray Retherford (Sherry Kae), Donna Case (Ron) and Gary Lee Retherford; her sister Evelyn Pittman; and also Albertis. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; and many loving relatives.
