She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Gordon, Virginia Guy, Lloyd and Doris Frank; and her uncle Lee Uglem.
She is survived by: her parents, Col. Thomas G. Guy and Kay Guy; her husband Col. John F. Rued; her daughter Grace; and her brothers, Paul Guy (Kris) and Mark Guy (Molly).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances be made through contributions to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Bellevue NE.
