He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa; his parents, George and Julia; and his siblings, Don and Jean.

He is survived by: his children, Michael (Karen), Judith Sauley (Edward), Lynn Green (Robert) and Brian (Kim); and his brother Denny (Joyce). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
