With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Virginia Schantz of Beemer, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Schantz; and her siblings, Doris, Ace Klotzner, Bernice, Harold Gore, Chester Cox and Newell Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Donna (Craig Malmberg), Larry (Deb Schantz), Teresa (Morteza Fatemi), Stan Schantz of Beemer, NE and Chris Schantz of Newman Grove, NE; and her brother-in-law Ben. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Beemer Mennonite Church (327 Sherman St, Beemer, NE 68716). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials to be considered include-Beemer Mennonite Church, The Sioux City, IA Mission, or the Stanton Health Center.
