With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Verna Mae Rohde of Beemer, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 14, 2024 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Verna Mae Rohde to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurence Johannas and Frances Mary Hansen (Pippitt); her cousin Rick Pippitt; and her parents-in-law, Clifford and Gladys Rohde (Sellin).
She is survived by: her husband Ron; her son Curt Rohde; her grandchildren, Allyson Rohde, Nathan Rohde and Christopher Rohde; her daughter Cherie Foote; her granddaughter Kayla Frerichs (Joe); her great grandchildren, Cohen, Callie and Colbie; her grandchildren, Lane Foote (Whitney) and Cynthia Petersen (Jake); her children, Caleb Gamble, Cody Gamble, Matt Petersen, Lezlee Petersen, Colleen Starzl (Josh), Calvin Starzl and Colston Starzl; her siblings, Nancy J. Niemann (Alan) and Larry L. Hansen (Cathy); and also Ledger. She is also survived by several in-laws; nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church (421 N Pearl St, Wayne, NE 68787).
Memorials may be directed to the Rohde Family for later designation.
