He was predeceased by: his parents, John Welch and Verna Welch (Mulder); his siblings, Larry, Fred, Bonnie and Olvetta; and his niece Carolyn Maxwell.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Criswell; his children, Richard Welch (Deb) of Lincoln, Jay Welch (Andrea) of Ord, Doug Welch (Denise) of Beaver Crossing and Jennifer Lopez (Alex) of Bellevue, WA; his foster son Jesse Miller of Lincoln; his brother John Welch (Marie) of Cortland, NE; his siblings-in-law, Bob Parks of Fairfax Station, Virginia and Deb Welch of Lincoln; and his grandchildren, Eric, Heather, Lindsay, Clayton, Emily, Ben, Preston, Dylan, Tyler, Daniel, Dillon, Thomas and Drey.
