She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bishop and Mabel Bishop (Winslow); her husband George Maschmeier; her daughter Kay Lynn Maschmeier; her siblings, George Bishop and Joan Houseman; and her siblings-in-law, Lillie Mae Lillie (Ray), Leo Maschmeier, Fredrick Maschmeier and Keith Houseman.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Seger (John) of Beatrice and Tim Maschmeier (Susan) of Beatrice; her grandchildren, Cindy Swanzy of Beatrice, Troy Coudeyras (Laura) of Appleton and Joshua Maschmeier (Nicole) of Omaha; and her sister-in-law Frances "Cookie" Maschmeier of Gering. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harman - Wright Mortuary (623 Elk St, Beatrice, NE 68310). A prayer was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:15 AM at the Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church (223 N 8th St, Beatrice, NE 68310). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
