He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Waltke and Marie Johnson Waltke; his brother Clarence Waltke; his son-in-law Shonn Clancy; his grandson Beau Thomas Waltke; and his great grandchild Grayson Michael Sheets.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Roesler of Beatrice; his children, James Waltke (Diane) of Bennet, Nancy Arnold (Erik) of Douglas, Jackie Rinne (Darrell) of Beatrice, Annette Weise (Jed) of Jansen, Ann Clancy of Lincoln and Julie Heyen (Sean) of Lincoln; his sisters, Annita Wheeler (Robert) of Medford, OR and Lillian Holkum (Wally) of Stillwater, OK; and his sister-in-law Bethel Waltke of Beatrice. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
