It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilbert A Frey of Beatrice, Nebraska, who passed away on May 27, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Wilbert A Frey to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Frey and Alvina Frey (Rohlfing); his siblings, Marvin Frey (Helga) and Bernetta Huenke (Edgar); his parents-in-law, Arnold and Elizabeth Ruhnke; and his brother-in-law Robert Ruhnke.

He is survived by: his wife Joanne Ruhnke of Beatrice; his daughters, Ginger Pittman (Mark) of Pickrell, Joni Waldo (Kendal Hieronymus) of Pickrell and Jill Petersen of Fairbury; his grandchildren, Abby VanLaningham (Matt), Kate Meints (Matt), Hannah Bell (Nick), Laura Chisano, Cara Steele (Jacob), Megan McCarthy (Erin), Thomas Waldo, Jacob Petersen (Adry) and Jarod Petersen (Brittney); and his sister-in-law Jane Nider (Larry) of Beatrice. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to the family for future designation.
