Walter H. Oden Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter H. Oden of Beatrice, Nebraska, who passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Delores J. Nelson; his parents, Thomas Oden and Emily Oden (Schiermeyer); his brothers, Charles and Roy Oden; and his parents-in-law, Morris and Alma Nelson.
He is survived by: his sons, Ted Oden (Melody), Wes Oden (Lois), Morris Oden (Nancy Miller), Dan Oden (Michelle) and Keith Oden (Jackie). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fox Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1116 N 19th St, Beatrice, NE 68310). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to family for future designation.
