She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Schmidt and Frieda Schmidt (Sandman); her husband Roland Hueske; her son-in-law Galen Plihal; her siblings, Evelyn Overbeck (Frank), Venita Kibbe (Cecil), Dorothy Wagner (Larry), Elaine Schlake (John), Lois Koenig (Kenneth), Althea Schoeboe (Jerry), Elton Schmidt (Wilma) and Harold Schmidt; her grandsons, Jeffrey Detweiler and Bryce Scherling; and her parents-in-law, August and Agatha Hueske (Grabowski).
She is survived by: her children, Stan Hueske (Mary) of Plymouth, Bev Plihal of DeWitt and Beth Detweiler (Gary) of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Sheri Murphy (Matt) of Idaho, Annette Morrell (Lee) of Arizona, Tom Hueske (Tracie) of Plymouth, Tammy Olson (Paul) of Omaha, Ben Detweiler (Jen) of Idaho, Jason Detweiler (Amber) of Lincoln and Abby Detweiler of Lincoln; her granddaughter-in-law Tanya Scherling of Kearney; and her sisters-in-law, Virgene Schmidt of Fairbury and Libby Hueske of Virginia. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Cottonwood Hospice, Plymouth Library and St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in care of the church elders.
