It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Elnora Bissegger of Beatrice, Nebraska, born in Falls City, Nebraska, who passed away on May 29, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Cowperthwait and Natalie Cowperthwait (Bauers); her husband Ronald Bissegger; her siblings-in-law, James Bissegger and Iva Cowperthwait; and her parents-in-law, Herman and Elsie Bissegger.
She is survived by: her children, Lyle (Kris) of Colorado Springs, Toby Bissegger of Beatrice, Nancy Bissegger (Larry Rezny) of Beatrice, Jayne Hughes (Jim) of Lincoln and Jody Pitts (Mark Johnson) of Beatrice; her grandchildren, Ryan Bissegger, Emily Kindley, Jenny Hanshaw, Chad Bissegger, Jarod Pieper, Janelle Maybee, Tyler Pieper, Nicole Arena and Dillon Pitts; and her siblings, Gary Cowperthwait of Ontario, Oregon and Marcia (Larry Rue) of Wilber. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
