She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Nicholson and Ena Fisher Nicholson; her husband Ladd J. Maxson; her daughter Brenda Busing; her grandson Andrew Swett; her siblings, Evelyn Marsh, Robert Nicholson and Ivan Nicholson; and her nephews, Gregory Nicholson and Roger Nicholson.
She is survived by: her children, Ladd J. Maxson, Jr. (Xi) of West Lafayette, IN, Cindy Swett (Bob) of Falling Waters, WV and Sherri Clark (George) of Beatrice; her stepdaughter Jeanne Young of LaGrange, WY; and her son-in-law Mark Busing of Fairbury. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established to the family for future designation.
