He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar H. Beekman and Francis M. Carstens Beekman; his brother Merv; his sister-in-law Jenny Beekman; his parents-in-law, Rod Burger and Kate Dobrovolny; and his siblings-in-law, Norma Beekman and Paul Damman.
He is survived by: his wife Sherrie Beekman of Beatrice; his children, Roc Beekman (Michaela) of Lincoln, Ryan Beekman (Allisa) of Lone Jack, MO, Amber Beekman of Beatrice and Jacob Beekman of Beatrice; his grandchildren, Finn, Reed, Beau, Emmett, Mollie, Gradey, Madysen and Marley; and his siblings, Fred Beekman, Madeline Damman, Meleese Schmidt (Richard), Rush Beekman (Sally) and Tom Beekman (Becky). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
