He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Meints and Eula Mae "Judy" Meints (Wieden); and his wife Dottie Thomsen. He is survived by: his son Ryan Meints (Tiffany) of Milford; his stepchildren, John Thomsen (Lea) of Diller, Linsey Riegel (Jarrett) of Lincoln and Jackie Gaddy of Diller; his grandchildren, Cooper Meints, Jayden, Easton, Monroe Thomsen and Mylee Gaddy; his brothers, Ronald Meints of Beatrice and Mike Meints (Karen) of Beatrice; and his brothers-in-law, Alan Baumfalk (Caren) of Laguna Woods, CA and Terry Baumfalk (Rhinda) of Kokomo, IN. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harman - Wright Mortuary (623 Elk St, Beatrice, NE 68310). A prayer was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:15 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (701 N 6th St, Beatrice, NE 68310). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the family's choice in care of the mortuary.
