She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Coates and Milgene Coates (Dempsey); her husband Jerry McDonald; her siblings, Betty McDonald, Brenda Rayburn and Jerry Coates; and her nephews, John McDonald, Darren Rayburn and Chris Hohensee.
She is survived by: her children, Charlene Disney (Dan), Teresa Kelley (Tony), David Schwartz (Donna) and Dean Schwartz (Tara); her stepchildren, Kim Gifford (Dale) and Jeff McDonald (Paula); her grandchildren, Autumn Burmeister (Skyler), Heath Gifford, Jerrika McDonald, Danae Plessel (Trevor), Brianna Chacon (Danny), Bethany Aden, Desiree Alback (David), Brooke, Dalton, Bailey Schwartz, Reece, Xavier, Koral Schwartz and Noel Griffin; and her sister Nancy Teet. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Cottonwood Hospice and the Beatrice Humane Society.
