He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Tegtmeier and Matilda Tegtmeier (Seitz); his wife Viola Tegtmeier (Malchow); and his brothers, Milton Tegtmeier (Deloris), Raymond Tegtmeier (Gwen) and Wilbert Tegtmeier (Lois).
He is survived by: his children, Steve Tegtmeier (Bobbi) of Lincoln, Howard Tegtmeier (Alison) of Lincoln and Maxine Ervin of Platte City, MO; and his grandchildren, Marcus Tegtmeier (Caroline), Kaylene Callicoatt (Michael), Derek Tegtmeier and Dylan Tegtmeier (Jenae). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family's choice.
