He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Baumfalk and Edith Baumfalk (Waltke); and his brother Mardell Roelfs. He is survived by: his former wife Cynthia Mullen; his children, Nicholas Baumfalk (Kayla) of Wilber, Kristofer Baumfalk of Green Leaf, KS and Kimberly Zink of Abilene, KS; his grandchildren, Axton, Taylor and Ava; his siblings, Leland Baumfalk (Bonnie), Reva Von Busch (Dennis), Sue Bohr (Philip) and Mary Sukovaty; his aunts, Leona Rickers and Frieda Roelfs; and his uncle Alan McKissick. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to the family's choice.
