He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Barrett and Ellen Barrett (Morey); his half-brother Robert Barrett; and his brother-in-law Bob McGinn. He is survived by: his wife Julie Ann Groesbeck; his daughters, Jennifer Armentrout (Jody) of Portland and Teresa Barrett (Joey Zehner) of Des Moines, Iowa; his grandchildren, Logan and Grayce Armentrout; his siblings, Tom Barrett (Joy) of Blue Ridge, Pat Barrett (Judy) of Floyd, Iowa and Karen McGinn of Cedar Falls, Iowa; and also Julie.
