He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Rideout; and his grandson Craig Sutphin. He is survived by: his wife Laura Rideout of Beatrice; his children, Chelsea Sutphin (Sam) of Beatrice, Becky Sutphin (Ben) of Beatrice, Justin Rideout of Beatrice and MyKaela Rideout of Beatrice; his grandchildren, Gavin, Theodore, Oliver, Elouise, Rhett, River and Willow; his mother June (Flewelling) of New Hampshire; his sisters, Judith Mason (John) and Jane Rideout; and his nephews, John T. Mason and James Mason.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family's choice.
