He was predeceased by: his parents, John Andrews and Mabel Andrews; his wife Charlotte Andrews; his son-in-law Mark Jackson; his sisters, Vera Brand (Chuck) and Virgie Andrews; his siblings-in-law, Joe VonRotz, John Andrews and Kathie Andrews; and his nephew Mike Colgrove.
He is survived by: his daughter Sherri Jackson; his grandsons, Austin Jackson and Blake Jackson (Alicia); and his siblings, Evelyn VonRotz, Fern Colgrove (Dave), Troy Andrews (Charlotte), Mildred Edson (John), Lois Hurt (Ken), Floyd Andrews and Marilyn Redman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and many friends.
The lying in state was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home. A prayer was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church of Christ (618 W M St, Wymore, NE 68466). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wymore Church of Christ with the funeral home in charge.
