She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Carpenter and Verena Carpenter (Zager); her husband Wilbur Meints; her sons, Joel Meints and James Meints; and her grandchildren, Trinity Meints and Jeremy Durst.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Meints of Plymouth, Daniel Meints of Beatrice, Susan Jurgens (Ron) of Beatrice, Lorie Topp (George) of Tecumseh and Todd Meints (Val) of Sturgis; her daughters-in-law, Ranae Meints of Hiawatha and Dodi Meints of Chadron; her grandchildren, Jennifer Harberts (Brian), Jeff Meints (Tamara), Chasity Myers, Jason Durst, Elizabeth Drew (Derek), Andrea Meints, Kristen Buhr (Coby), Daniel Meints, Jr., Sarah Emily (Rocky), Maryann Wichman (Derrick), Matthew Meints, Katie Jo Mead (Lonnie), Tyler Meints (Stacia), Jesse Meints and Clayton Meints; and her sister Beverly Hecox (Jerry). She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren; and cousin.
Memorials are suggested to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Plymouth with the church elders in charge.
