She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hertzel and Barbara Hertzel; her husband Bob; her parents-in-law, Lester and Viola Barnard; her brothers, Paul (Audrey Kuntz) and Lamar (Barbara Barnard); and her brother-in-law Kenneth Barnard.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Barnard (Linda) and Gary Barnard (Kathy); her grandchildren, Kerri Barnard-Swoboda, Steven Barnard, Jennifer Frerichs (Jeff), Julie Fischer (Eric) and Tara MacKenzie (Kevin); and her sister-in-law Charlene Barnard. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, four great great-grandchildren.
Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to the Community Food Bank of Beatrice.
