He is survived by: his children, Lisa Dorn of Adams, NE and Jeffrey Evers (Salatha) of Westerville, OH; his grandchildren, Anna Wolken (Devin) of Crab Orchard, NE, Ryan Dorn (Kirsten) of Cortland, NE and Samuel Evers of Westerville, OH; and his siblings-in-law, Vernita Schmitz (Maury) of Overland Park, KS, Norma Bertch of Papillion, NE, Bob Becker (Fay) of Big Lake, MN, Dan Becker (Pat) of Waterloo, IA, Tom Becker (Nancy) of Waterloo, IA and David Becker (Cathy Merritt) of Waterloo, IA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
A memorial has been established to Friends of Homestead National Historic Park.
