He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Olson and Alice Olson (Spratt); his brothers, Roy Leon Olson and Ira "Bub" Olson; his parents-in-law, Dave and Alma Eberly; and his siblings-in-law, George Eberly and Jolene Olson.
He is survived by: his son Brett Gene of Ocala, Florida; his wife Arlene Eberly of Beatrice; his siblings, Janet Blowers (Charles) of Gothenburg and Don Olson (Carol) of Gothenburg; and his sisters-in-law, Nadine Williams (Preston) and Pat Eberly. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family's choice.
