He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Saathoff and Sadie Saathoff (Fossler); his great grandchild Stella Rose Blythe; his brothers, Lester Saathoff (Nancy) and Loren Saathoff; and his parents-in-law, John and Lola Boughtin (Pethoud).
He is survived by: his wife Jennie Boughtin; his sons, Roger Saathoff of Beatrice and Mark Saathoff (SuAnn) of Beatrice; his grandchildren, Accassia Saathoff, Jayde Blythe (Travis) and Trey Saathoff; his great grandchildren, Zaidyn and Scarlett; his siblings, Lonnie Saathoff of California and Cindy Lawson of Beatrice; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Bluhm (Royce) of Omaha and John Boughtin (Diana) of Crete. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
