She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred W. Waltke and Rexta Waltke (Johnsen); and her husband Tjark Rickers. She is survived by: her children, David Rickers (Debbie) of Bellevue, Dale Rickers (Rhonda) of Beatrice, Gale Rickers (Audrey) of Hebron, Wayne Rickers (Lois) of Beatrice and Debbie Grunska (Chris) of Frisco, TX; and her sister Frieda Roelfs of Lincoln. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Boy Scout Troop 221 of the Presbyterian Church and Boy Scout Troop 85 of St. John Lutheran Church.
