He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Weishahn and Alvina Weishahn (Schwisow); his former wife Judith Weishahn; his siblings, Jimmy Lee Weishahn, Inez Rudge and Irella Brinkman (Roger); and his siblings-in-law, Francis Hurt (Betty) and Alberta Sick (Alfred).
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Hook (Hurt); his children, Larry Weishahn Jr. (Gina) of Beatrice, Kevin Weishahn of Beatrice and Kimberly Weishahn (Sheryl Beck) of Lincoln; his stepdaughters, LeaAnn Smith (Scott) of Orlando and Lisa Hook of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Jess Ideus (Craig), Natasha Hibbert (Andrew), Dylan Melcher (Shelby), Spencer Weishahn (Kelsey), Kamree Weishahn (Eli Pelc), Nicholas Smith (Sami) and Matthew Smith (Christine); and his great grandchildren, Brogan, Bryleigh, McKenzleigh, Chesleigh Ideus, Braelyn, Broderick, Brielle Hibbert, Aiden, Wynnifred Melcher, Kallen Stohs, Landon Weishahn, Sadie and Connor Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the St. Paul Lutheran School in care of the mortuary.
