We bid farewell to Larry D. Carlson of Beatrice, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 21, 2025 at the age of 78. Larry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, Larry is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Larry's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carlson and Evelyn Carlson (Bathel); his former wife Jeanette; and his brother William Carlson. He is survived by: his daughters, Tiffany Harris of St. Charles, MO and Tara Lynn Carlson of Dupo; his wife Jan Ideus Litherland; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Carlson.
The lying in state will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fox Funeral Home (1116 N 19th St, Beatrice, NE 68310). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fox Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1116 N 19th St, Beatrice, NE 68310).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Nebraska Baseball Hall of Fame in Beatrice.
